Remember Ko’Ko’

The painting expresses my connection to the land, in the early 70’s. I remember going to the ranch and seeing the Ko’ Ko’ birds run wild through the jungle. Today the Ko’Ko’ bird are one of the few endemic birds of Guam still in existence. I'm hopeful they have chance to run wild again on the Island of Guam.
