Artist Statement
Since early childhood, I was always interested in visual arts, influenced by my mother, an architect. While working as a Certified General Real Property Appraiser in 2012, I suddenly had the urge to find out if I wanted to pursue a Fine Art/Arts degree. In the Spring of 2013, I decided to enroll in courses in the Introductory to History of Art and Basic Ceramics at the University of Guam to find out if I was still interested in the arts. The lectures provided by Professor Lewis Rifkowitz have triggered back my passion for the arts. I have also completed my watercolor concentration in 2019 but chose to enroll in Basic Painting the following year and found out it was my niche. I am now pursuing my painting concentration until the year 2023.
